tBiz
GST accounting and ERP for Indian business. Invoicing, inventory, real double-entry ledgers, GST returns, TDS, payroll, field work and approvals — one system, one login. Built in-house because running two trading operations across two tax regimes needed software that actually understood both.

The difference, first
Approval is not a status field
In most accounting software, a bill posts the moment somebody types it, and "pending approval" is a label attached to a transaction that has already moved your numbers.
In tBiz a document waiting on a decision is held out of the books. Everyone can see it — nothing is hidden — but its voucher is un-posted: not in the trial balance, not in the profit and loss, not in the party ledger, not in cash flow. Your accounts stay exactly as they were until a person with the right to say yes says yes.
Threshold rules decide what needs holding, per document type and per amount — every journal entry, or only payments above a set figure — and eight document types can be held this way: invoices, bills, credit and debit notes, and journal, payment, receipt and contra vouchers.

What is in it
One system, not nine subscriptions
Enter something once and watch four things move: the invoice, the stock, the ledger and the party balance. Nobody re-types anything into a spreadsheet.
01
CRM & pipeline
Six-stage lead board with sources, values and expected close dates. Stale and unassigned leads surfaced. One party record carrying receivable, payable, GSTIN, state code and full ledger. Click-to-call and WhatsApp Business through the official Meta Cloud API.
02
Sell
Quote to sales order to delivery challan to invoice to credit note, each document carrying the last one forward. GST and non-GST invoices. Credit notes reverse properly instead of editing history.
03
Buy & stock
Purchase orders and goods receipts where a short delivery stays a short delivery. Rate audit across suppliers and months. HSN master, warehouses and transfers, batches, bill of materials, item profitability.
04
The books
Real double entry — not a spreadsheet wearing a ledger's coat. Chart of accounts, eight voucher types, day book, trial balance, P&L, balance sheet, party ageing, bank reconciliation, cost centres, budgets, multi-currency with revaluation, cheque printing, audit log.
05
GST & tax
GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B generated in the NIC schema and downloaded as JSON to file. CGST, SGST, IGST, cess, exempt and nil-rated. TDS deductions, challans and Form 26Q.
06
People & payroll
Shifts, in and out times, lateness, geofenced attendance and per-employee rule sets. Payslips computed from the clock. Leave and regularisation with named approvers. Advances and loans, expense claims with receipt photos, petty cash, fixed-asset register with SLM or WDV depreciation.
07
Work in the field
Tasks and work orders with checklists, field jobs with site location and GPS check-in, a team board, and insights on on-time rate and average days to finish.
08
Control
Approvals, permissions across forty-eight resources with create, read, update and delete on each, users and roles, multi-company on one login, a built-in messenger with voice and video, and an activity log recording user, IP and device.
09
Getting started
Masters imported from Tally XML or Busy Excel. Tally day-book history re-posts as balanced journals, de-duplicated by Tally ID so re-running is safe. Twelve document templates with a visual editor, 80 mm thermal receipts, and a UPI QR on the invoice.
Stated limits
The things tBiz cannot do — yet
Published on the product's own site, and repeated here because a software company that lists its gaps is easier to plan around than one that does not.
- E-invoice (IRN) — built to the NIC schema, but IRP registration needs GSP credentials wired in. Until then the numbers returned are simulated, and the product says so.
- E-way bill — the form exists; the NIC call does not yet.
- Filing a return for you — you or your CA upload it. Nothing is submitted on your behalf.
- Rebuilding old invoices line by line — Tally history imports as balanced journals. The totals are right; the line detail stays in Tally.
