A transformer is only as reliable as the oil that cools and insulates it. Over time, moisture, acidity and particulates turn that liquid into a liability. Our multi-stage high-vacuum process restores dielectric strength — without the cost, downtime and environmental burden of a full oil replacement.

Every pass is verified. Figures below are representative of a contaminated distribution transformer restored to service; your completion report carries your own readings, not these.
Method
A closed loop — no oil leaves your site
Oil is drawn from the transformer, processed through six stages, tested, and recirculated. Passes repeat until the target BDV is reached, then the oil is returned.
Intake
Oil drawn from the transformer under controlled flow.
Coarse filter
Sludge and visible particulates removed first.
Heating
Controlled temperature, held at or below 65 °C.
Vacuum chamber
Degassing and dehydration under high vacuum.
Fine filter
Micron-level polish before return.
BDV test
Dielectric strength measured and logged each pass.
Recirculation continues until the target breakdown voltage is reached, after which the oil is returned to the transformer. The loop stays closed throughout — nothing is decanted, transported or disposed of off site.

Oil filtration, answered straight
Why filter the oil instead of simply replacing it?
Three reasons. Cost — filtration is a fraction of the price of new oil at transformer volumes. Environment — used transformer oil is a hazardous waste, and filtering avoids generating it. Downtime — on-site processing takes the transformer out of service for far less time than a drain, flush and refill.
How do you prove the work succeeded?
Breakdown voltage and moisture content are measured before we start and after each pass, using test equipment brought to your site. Those readings are logged and handed over in the completion report. If the target BDV is not reached, the oil goes round again.
How long will our transformer be out of service?
It depends on oil volume and how contaminated it is, which is why we survey before quoting. The schedule is agreed with your electrical team in advance and worked around your load profile — including overnight and weekend working where the outage window demands it.
Which areas do you cover?
Srinagar and all districts of Jammu & Kashmir. The equipment is mobile, so remote substations are reachable; additional logistics for high-altitude or difficult-access sites are quoted openly rather than hidden in the rate.
Can you also test oil without filtering it?
Yes. Condition monitoring — BDV and moisture testing on a scheduled basis — is available as part of an annual maintenance contract, so filtration is carried out when the readings call for it rather than on a guess.
